Tried Launching a Program and It Crashed Again

Hi Henkdevries_1337, Welcome to Microsoft Community :)

It's my pleasure to help you today.

I'm sorry you've had to deal with this.

I know how frustrating this may be for you.

Lets diagnose the issue by referring to the following issue diagnosing methods and check the issue status.

Method 1:

Ensure that you have installed available Windows updates, including Optional updates and check the issue status.

Reference links for more information ( Steps mentioned in the following link are applicable to Windows 10 technical Previews well):

Download and install drivers:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/dow...

Windows Update: Frequently Asked Questions: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows?ui=...

Method 2:

I would suggest you to perform a clean boot and check if it helps.

Clean boot will check if any third party application is causing the issue, as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.
How to troubleshoot problem by performing clean boot in Windows:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/929135...

Note: Once you are done with the troubleshooting, perform the steps in "How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot "to reset computer as usual.

Method 3:

To isolate the issue, I suggest you to create another user account and check if the issue persists. This will determine if the issue is a profile corruption. To do that, follow the steps below.

Go to Start menu.
Click on Settings.
Choose Accounts.
Select Other User Accounts towards the left.
Select Add an Account.
Towards the bottom, select "Sign in without a Microsoft account."
Choose Local Account.
Enter a user name and hit Next.
Click on Finish.
Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
I recommend you join the Windows Insider Program to get more frequent preview builds and send your feedback straight to the people building Windows.

Once you're an Insider, use the Windows Feedback app to tell us which features you love, which features you could do without, or when something could be better.

I hope it helps :)

I postponed the fix for a while, because i had to work. But it helped.

I did a clean reboot which worked. After troubleshooting with turning on/off services on startup I found out that one of the services was causing this problem. In this case it was a service called: "EntryProtect Inject Service" from Citrix.

Now I need to know how to fix this service for when I need to use it. Any suggestions?

Oh I see it only fixed one of the programms. My VMware is still crashing... I'll try some more troubleshooting.

What is the best way to share the minidump file?

Eventually, the error was fixed by updating my vmware workstation. I also reinstalled windows, but that didn't fix the error. It did fix some other errors, but still got the BSOD on image startup. Updating vmware workstation to a newer version fixed the error (luckily I had a license code). Thanks for the help.
